WHAT/WHO: District women 60 years of age and older will compete in the Ms. Senior D.C. Pageant 2013. The contestants will be judged on a personal interview, their philosophy of life, talent and evening gown presentation. The winner of the contest will be crowned Ms. Senior D.C. 2013 and will represent the District in the Ms. Senior America Pageant.

TICKETS: The donation for tickets is $25 and they are available in advance or at the door. A parking garage is also available on Van Ness Street, NW at a flat rate of $5 in advance.
BACKGROUND: There are five contestants that will be competing in the pageant that is held annually to select Ms. Senior D.C. Contestants will be judged by a panel of community representatives that will be conducting interviews prior to the event. The scores from the interview will be ranked with the scores from the philosophy of life, talent and evening gown segments of the pageant. Ms. Senior D.C. 2013 will compete among women across the country at the Ms. Senior America Pageant, October 20-25, 2013, Atlantic City, NJ. The Ms. Senior D.C. Pageant is presented by the D.C. Seniors Cameo Club, Family Matters of Greater Washington and the D.C. Office on Aging.
